Rena Brar Prayaga, President

Rena is trained as an attorney, a researcher, an evaluator, and an analyst. She has worked primarily in the fields of law, education, health, and technology. Rena has a JD from USC Law Center, a Master’s Degree in Experimental Psychology from UC San Diego, and a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations from Pomona College. In addition, she has completed training in participatory evaluation techniques and web technologies and applications.

She is a member of the American Evaluation Association, Women in Technology International, and the State Bar of California. On her blog, Exploring Change, she writes about a range of topics including evaluation, education, and new technologies.  She is also an entrepreneur and is working on a startup called Tikati which helps people explore international events, places, and resources close to home and on the Web.

Evaluation Matters draws from a network of consultants, most of whom have several years of expertise in their field of specialization. Since our core working group is small, we are able to keep our costs low and we pass the savings on to our clients whenever possible.
